A few of the things that have been going on the last little while are that Todd is officially a second year dental student now. Whoo hoo! We are so happy that he is done with the first year. Now only three more to go :) After we returned some spring break I started having some major issues with my back. I have some pinched nerves and some other issues that go back to my days when I was a gymnast. This last week I have seen some major improvements after hardly being able to walk for a few weeks. I have a great chiropractor who deals a lot with massage/physical therapy and is awesome to work with. Hopefully one day I will be back to normal. We've had a lot of company of the last month or so, which has been fun. That's about all that has been going on.
My brother Steve came and stayed the night with us on his way through to North Carolina to go house hunting.
Fisher has decided he likes pink cowboy hats.
My fellow Twilight buddy, Melanie, is moving to Kansas City in the next few weeks :( She needed to do some house hunting and it just so happened that Stephenie Meyer was having a book singing for her new book, The Host. We decided to have a little fun and make a quick 8 hour trip both ways. It was worth it. 16 hours with no little boys and lots of Muse to listen to :)
Later, my parents were able to visit for a day after attending my brother's MBA graduation from Purdue. (Congrats Steve!) Fisher loves when Grandpa Lund is around because he always has his computer in tow.
I had my mom around for Mother's Day which was great.
Fisher chillin' outside drinking his Propel.
The next weekend Todd's parents were able to come down and visit. We had a great visit with them and were able to teach them our new favorite game, Ticket to Ride.
2 weeks and all four grandparents! Life doesn't get better than that for a two year old.
I cut somewhere around 9 inches off my hair. Thanks Sherstein!
This is kind of a scary picture but Todd was growing out his beard until the Utah Jazz were out of the playoffs. After they lost he had a night of shaving his beard into all sort of different shapes and styles. He went to school for a day like this...and then later shaved it when I refused to come near him :)
Over Memorial Day my brother, sister-in-law and nephew all came down to stay with us on their way to North Carolina where they are moving. Fisher had so much fun playing with Chandler and played a lot better than I have seen him play in a long time. He actually shared some of his toys!
