A day at the Zoo

(A sad reminder that Chula will not be at my parent's house for Thanksgiving.)

Finally getting around to a four month post

Four Month Stats:

Height: 24 inches (25th%)

Weight: 15-4 (50th%)

Cooper definitely has blue eyes. Like Fisher's they are on the darker side. We'll see if they lighten at all in the coming months or if he will also have "blueberry" eyes.

He loves to chew on his fingers.

And he kicks his little feet constantly.

He loves tummy time but has not attempted to roll since the first night he succeeded. Fisher, however, likes to help him roll and Coopers finds it hilarious being rolled around.

Cooper loves this rocking chair.

And he loves playing with his tongue.

He makes all sorts of faces, just like his big brother.

There have been a few occasions while playing on his tummy where he konked out. I love sleeping babies.

He is still a happy, smiley guy and for the most part is extremely low maintenance.

He has stopped pooping so much now that he has hit the four month mark. He seems to have more gas though. No more Cooper the Pooper, I guess.

Cooper loves to grab onto things now. A few days ago he grabbed at my earrings for the first time and he has also been experimenting with my hair. I am not fond of that phase but he's so sweet I will forgive him for it :)

He loves mirrors.

When he is on his back he scoots all over the place and is constantly scooting off his map or blanket.

He has found his thumb on a few occasions. I have tried using the pacifier to avoid having another thumb sucker but he is not as interested in that. For the most part he tends to just chew on his hands.

He has hit the four month growth spurt where he is eating constantly. He even wakes during the middle of the night on occasion (boo hoo for me) and earlier in the morning. I guess I had to experience lack of sleep eventually :) We have not started him on cereal yet but we might try it out sooner rather than later. We'll see.

Parking Lot Beauty

The sky may have been an ugly color today but the trees all around us were amazing! This is the most beautiful I have ever seen a parking lot. The lighting was horrible for pictures but that is okay.

Four months old...and a first roll!

I will be doing another post with lots of Cooper pictures as soon as I have the stats from his check up. In the mean time here are a few pictures documenting his second roll ever. He rolled for the first time last night...the last day of being three months old. Afterwards he was pooped out! (and I am not referring to the poop that happens to creep up the back of diapers :)
Cooper does not get near as much floor time as Fisher...and that is due to Fisher. I fear for Cooper's life when he is on the floor and Fisher is even remotely close to the vicinity.
