Lately

*I am going to be rambling a lot in this post.*
Leave to Cooper to ruin this picture with his weird face he is into making these days.

Our little Tucker baby and his big blue eyes.

Tucker has about five teeth coming in right now.  He wakes up constantly through the night.

Fisher is liking school so far although the last few days have been hard for him once he is home.  I think all the change is finally affecting him.  This morning he told me he didn't want to bother going to this school and we need to just move to Virginia.  I know the feeling.  It isn't that we don't like it here, because we actually like it a lot.  It it just hard knowing that we are supposed to already be gone and so we are basically just killing time until the move happens.

As of right now, we have the movers coming the 17-18th of September to pack everything and the truck will be loaded the 19th.  The 20th and 21st will be cleaning days so we can pass inspection on the house (their list of things to do is BIG).  Our final walk through is Monday the 24th.  Hopefully we will be on the road soon after that.

(I love this picture of Tucker.  Makes my heart melt.)
Our things won't arrive until closer to October 1st so we will live in temporary housing until we move into our place with all of our stuff.

I was unable to enjoy Fisher's first week of school since me, Tucker & Cooper were all sick with some nasty cold thing going around.  Cooper spent a lot of time on the couch, in pj's with hair that looked like this.

 His show of choice...

I pulled out the 18 months clothes the other day.  Crazy to think Tucker will be the third to wear a lot of the items.  He has been fussy ALL WEEK LONG.  I am feeling tons better although today I found out I have to have three moles removed as a precaution.  I am sure I have more but the doc only looked at some of the ones on my arms and legs.  The years of tanning will probably come back to bite me so  I am going to have a full body scan soon.  I have worried for years that I am going to have skin cancer and some recent events have motivated me to do something about it.

Tucker is really into feeding himself these days.

It is painful for me to watch since it makes such a big mess.  It looks painful for him to do based off the expression on his face.

Here is a much cuter expression.

Or even better yet...Look at those lashes!

Fisher started his first day of First grade last week.  So far, so good. :)  I couldn't convince him to wear anything cute his first day.

He loves playing Mario Kart on Wii and so this was the backpack he chose.  Last year I got him a boring black one and so this year I let him choose his own.

He really wanted to do a silly face.

Daddy has been taking him to school since he hasn't been very busy at work.  That is going to change starting tomorrow, though.  He can finally start seeing patients again.

When I was having my moles checked, I also had the doc look at my hip.  It has been bothering me for the last couple of months and now with my back flaring up as well, I wanted to get a referral for the chiropractor.  (Turns out you don't need a referral for that one.  I am always learning things about military life.)  Anyway, my hip WAS completely out of alignment.  He said it was probably me bending and twisting at the same time and to try to avoid that.  I told him my kids treat me like a human jungle gym.  This is proof.  Obviously this is Todd and not me but you get the picture.

 Todd playing "gorilla" with them.

A typical day in our backyard.

I wish I had this much energy.  I have been dragging lately.

That's all for now.  I am going to go spend time with my husband. :)

Misc. Cousins and Siblings

The boys went out "rattlesnake hunting" with Grandpa.

I almost didn't make it to Reno.  I had just had my kidney stones, was overly tired and stressed and the thought of being in a car for two days was not ideal.  In the end, I flew with the three boys by myself to Vegas which was around three hours and then stayed the night with Ken & Alicia. Ken drove me and the boys to Reno and Alicia came a day later with Abby & Ethan.  Thanks Ken & Alicia for being so patient and accommodating with all the changes.

In the end, I was glad we were able to spend some time in Vegas.  It was fun seeing their house and letting the kids play.

I don't know if the neighbors agreed since my kids were up at 4am and out on the trampoline by 6am but whatever. :)

I love this picture of Abby & Brody.

Getting ready for church Sunday morning.

After church with some of the little guys.

Lots of time outside.

And helping the kitchen.

My Sis-in-laws are awesome in the kitchen.  The kids loved helping out

I hate when I don't blog about a trip right after it happens b/c you forget some of the really funny moments and are kind of off the high that accompanies a great trip.  Thank goodness for pictures to help remember some of those moments such as hot tubbing in Mom & Dad's bath.

The highlight of the entire trip (well, except for the wedding...)

My brothers rock.

Steve & Katrina looking like they are on the cover of a magazine under "happy families."

Helping with the birthday cake.  I have a birthday post coming up for Cooper, Ethan & Steve.

Prepping for the attempt of family pics.

One of my favorite things about spending time with the fam are the late night conversations.  Sure, a lot of the stories are repeated every.single.time. but it is still a lot of fun.  I also had a great time staying up and talking with my SIL's for hours. :)

I love my brothers and their wives and all my nieces and nephews are so cute entertaining.  I feel pretty lucky to have such a great family.

Grandma & Grandpa

Even though the house was overrun with kids and toys and a moody daughter, (that would be me) my dad was a good sport and spent a lot of time playing with the kids and helping out.

Tucker spent a lot of the trip sick so he helped take turns holding him and letting him sleep on his chest.

He learned how to play leapsters.

My boys love going on walks with Grandpa & Yonder.

You can't visit Nevada without experiencing sagebrush.

We sure love Yonder.  He had a birthday while we were there.

I LOVE this picture.

Grandma was happy to have the whole family together.  (Minus Todd.  He couldn't get time off from work to come for the wedding.)

My boys love Great Grandma.  The love her room and all the fun trinkets she has just like I did when I was a little girl.
