(Second post of the day.)

Let's see...it has been a while since I have posted Fisher's going-
ons. His biggest interests at the moment are drawing, coloring, art projects of any kind, singing & music, playing at the park, pennies & nickels, transformers, robots, helping me clean, playing with friends, dressing up in super hero costumes, racing cars on his track, not sleeping, eating sugar and treats (Darn you Halloween!), NOT eating his meals since he would prefer sugar and treats, reading books, telling stories at night (us to him and vice
versa.), sneaking on top of the fridge where I keep off limit items, Disney Channel, Alvin & the Chipmunks, holiday decorations, watching for planes in the sky, talking to his friend "the moon." Yes people. The moon is his friend and he talks to it all the time. We will be driving down the road and he'll yell "There's my friend the moon!" He also loves playing with Cooper, picking his nose, wiping himself after #2 and using a whole roll of toilet paper in the process, and last but not least he loves talking about his birthday party and presents.

So lately Fisher has not been sleeping. He goes to sleep late, resists napping, wakes up multiple times during the night and is up for good in the 6:00 hour. One night I went in to turn off his light after he FINALLY fell asleep and this is what I came across. I actually whacked him with the door when I walked in and he stayed asleep.

We had a major breakthrough when he finally learned to blow out his nose. Remember the tic
tac incident? Well, I did not help the situation when I said "Fisher- blow out your nose" hoping to shoot the tic
tac out. Well, I forgot that Fisher had not mastered the concept and instead snuffed it up into the dark abyss of his nostril. Silly Mom, as Fisher would say. Here Fisher is demonstrating his new skill.

I have had a hard time getting ahead of the cleaning lately (especially while we were all under the weather.) G&G Church gave Fisher a Halloween Alvin & the Chipmunks movie that is his favorite movie ever. One of the episodes has a babysitter who is making them clean up. She says the line "A clean house is a happy house." Fisher looked over at me one day and said "Our house is not very happy." I told him to go to his room. :)

Getting Fisher to wear pants around the house is next to impossible. What was really bad is one day he was in the bath and I was changing Cooper's diaper or something and Fisher climbed out of the bath and ran to the front door. When I finished with Cooper I ran over to Fisher only to find him standing buck naked in the window right next the front door, curtain drawn aside. He said someone had knocked on the door. A lady who wanted to tell us about Jesus...oh dear. We have a lot of Jehovah Witnesses who come in our area and I am hoping Fisher was imagining things and not flashing innocent passer-
bys. We had to have the talk about keeping himself covered.

Fisher loves helping me in the kitchen. I have found that he is happiest when we are doing some sort of project together. It is frustrating at times though because he is very hard on himself and throws tantrums if he is not perfect at something. It almost seems borderline
OCD at times.

He love splaying the game "what letter does this start with?

Like most little boys, he loves building things.

"Oh gross! I ate the beetle bug! I swallowed it!"

We have had a lot of allergies and colds lately so Fisher has heard a lot of talk about both. One day he looks at me with a very serious look and says
"I
feeled my allergies and they were cold."

To Todd one day when he came home from school:
"Oh, I guess you can come in here and play." motioning to his bedroom before Todd even had a chance to set down his backpack.

Fisher decided to scratch his back on a tree.
Seriously.

Tic
tac toe is a favorite along with puzzles.

He's still doing the lining up thing.

"I guess I'm not having a happy day."

Fisher's idea of a pogo stick- a bike pump.

What I have to deal with every time I try to take a picture of Fisher. There are a lot more pictures of Cooper on my camera these days than this child.

Fisher making his Mummy art project (this is how far behind I am in pictures.)
...
One day I was giving Fisher some sort of talking to...who can remember what since there are so many, and he looked at me and said "I'm the mommy!"

Fisher's art work for Halloween.
Lately Fisher's good days have been more frequent compared to the one okay for every six horrible days in the week. I'm not going to get ahead of myself but I can't help but hope that four will be a better year than three has been??
We love you Fisher!
