Christmas Eve
Taking a quick ride on the bear before church.
Looking like such a big boy and actually wearing shoes!
Fisher looking so calm and sweet in this picture. One thing about Fisher is he does not like to be held now that he has found freedom in walking.
Below is a sequence of pictures taken while we were trying to get a family photo. Since our blog is primarily pictures of Fisher I found these amusing seeing how squirmy he was and thought I would share.
The "let me down, I am unlocking my shoulders so I slide out of your grasp" pose.
Standing still is no longer working.
Rolling his eyes back into his head. This one is actually a little creepy when enlarged.
Mom is having to use the knee to help keep him up.
In the end the tummy hanging out and not looking at the camera won.
After all the hard work with the picture Fisher let us know he was tired by sucking his thumb and cuddling with the towel on our bed.
Fisher's first picture with Santa.
At first I thought it was Fisher's hand hitting Chandler's face but it turns out that Fisher was just giving a funny look as Chandler did it to himself.
Looking down on Chandler in their matching pjs.
It is amazing how much a baby changes in one year time. One year ago Todd and I were still in the hospital with Fisher trying to figure out how to change diapers and grasp the fact that we were parents. Now he is walking everywhere, getting into everything and we wouldn't have it any other way. Our lives wouldn't be complete without him.
Missing the mountains.
Lake Tahoe, my favorite place in the entire world.
The view of downtown Reno off my parent's deck. There are a lot more houses in the fields behind them now than there were two years ago when this was taken.
The view of Mt. Rose from the deck/kitchen. I miss this view.

Presents!!! (Round One. Round two will begin Christmas morning.)
Uncle Steve tormenting Fisher (as we all expected he would :) Fisher loved the curly ribbon.
The first present of the evening.
And when one (bow) is good, two is better. (AKA Grandma Lund's motto, for those of you who know her well.)
Fisher's cute little handyman pajamas from Erin & Robbie. There will be more photos of him in them later, complete with the tool belt.
Actually looking interested in the presents.
Some of the family present for the party. ("Great" Grandma Lund, Aunt Jeanne, Aunt Cathy, Alicia, Ken, "Grandma" Lund, Cousin Erin.
Robbie with his bride of just a few months, Erin, enjoying Fisher's birthday festivities. Awwww, so cute!
Cake Time!
I do not intend on becoming a cake decorator any time in the near future :)
The birthday boy prepping himself for his cake.
Patting Chandler's head (after having taken his hat.) He loved playing with the baby.
The birthday boy in the birthday hat trying to reach his candle.
Trying to sneak some cake while Mom and Dad are looking away.
Out of about 7 pictures, Todd was not smiling normal in any of them :) We can't believe our baby is one year old!
Fisher trying out some frosting.
"Touch Down!" That is something that Todd taught Fisher.
His birthday wouldn't be complete without a song of Happy Birthday from Grandma & Grandpa Church in Cincinnati.

Our little music man
We have always known that Fisher loves music. We now know he also loves listening to music using head phones! It helped keep him occupied on the flights to Reno.

Slackers....

We haven't been as dilligent as Steve and Ken in keeping our blog current over the holiday. We are getting back into Louisville tomorrow night at 1:00 in the morning (assuming we are on time) and plan on spending the next two days recovering from our fun time in Reno. Hopefully we will find the time in between naps to post pics from Fisher's birthday and Christmas. Hope everyone had a Merry Christmas!

Five days until our baby is ONE YEAR OLD!!
This is why Fisher is not ready for little toy cars or trucks...everything goes in his mouth. PINK.
His big fat bottom lip. ORANGE.
He can multi-task. One in the mouth while the other is in his hand. There were some points in time that he had one in each hand and another in the mouth. PURPLE.
Flaunting what he's got while in his frog hat.
Grandma & Grandpa Church and Jedd came down from Cincinnati for the afternoon on Saturday to celebrate an early Christmas and birthday for Fisher since we are heading to Reno for our first Christmas since 2002.It looks like Fisher is going to need glasses.

Fisher giving ice cream cake a try. Although we didn't give him very much, he seemed to like it. That was going to be a given considering he has not had much suger thus far. Unsweetened apple sauce is about as sweet as he has had it up until this point! How could he not like ice cream?
When he is tired, Fisher will grab his little blanket, rub it up by his face and start sucking his thumb. Gee, we don't know anyone who had (has) a blue textured blanket that likes to rub it by his/her face and sucked their thumb (much longer than considered normal).
Fisher in his outfit that my manager bought him for his birthday. I love the hoodie!

Fisher Magoo
Since our last post Fisher has learned how to read and has been catching up on the classics.
Fisher in my favorite outfit for the time being. He looks so cute walking around all wobbly in his overalls.
Supporting UNR with his socks.
This one reminds me a little of the blank stares you would see on Chula's face.
This is the boy's new favorite pose. He does this when he sees the Christmas tree. Normally he is looking up at the tree and not at us.
Today after church. It is cold enough for him to wear all of his fun little hats, which makes his Mom very happy.
Our little man just before his nap.
