Part of catching up on my photos is going through the happenings of August. First up- Todd had his 31st birthday! With him trying to lose weight and get in shape for the Air Force he did not want any cake so we did mini ice cream cones with low-fat/sugar ice cream.
Fisher loves picking out cards for people. Todd's was Scooby Doo (another one of his "things" at the moment) for someone turning eight.
A birthday is not a birthday without streamers and balloons in Fisher's eyes. From the moment he woke up he kept asking when we could decorate for daddy's birthday. I handed him the streamers and tape and he was off to it. He also drew a collection of pictures that I forgot to take pictures of. He hung them all around the house like an art gallery. My personal favorite was the purple picture of T-Rex biting Velociraptor's head off. It was a nice touch for a birthday party. :)
The boys enjoyed their mini ice-cream cones.
Later when it came time to open presents (one from me and one from the boys) Fisher was all too willing to help. Too bad Todd has been so busy studying for his Board exams that he has not had time to practice with the golf net we got him. There will be time for that in the future.
