Some oldies of Cooper

Still playing the catch up game. Since I have had a lot of Fisher on here lately, here is a little bit of the Coopster from April/May that were too cute to never make it on the blog.
Cooper is really trying to talk to us these days. He jabbers a lot and loves to talk on the phone.

He only has a few real words in his vocabulary at the moment. Mostly DaDa and Daddy. He used to say Mama when he was sad or upset but now when I try to get him to say Mama he shakes his head vehemently and says "Uhuh" as in "no". He will occasionally say hi but Todd has yet to hear that one.

While he is not speaking real English all that much (he speaks plenty of Cooper English) he does understand a lot of things we tell him now. The main one is "Go get you blankie." He knows exactly what that one means.

He also knows "Go get your shoes" which he will then run to the shoe basket and bring one shoe back and drop it at my feet like a dog. :)

"Time to take a bath!"
He loves that one and will run to the bathroom door.

" Do you want some milk?"

"Brush your teeth."
Another one of his favorites.
(His poor little arm after his IV.)

"Time to get in the car."
(Picture of him making music.)

"Go to your room so we can change your poops."
He will do his little twinkle toe run into his bedroom.

"High five!"
He recently learned this one from daddy.

"Give me a kiss."
(I call this picture "What Marker?")

"Grab a book."
He loves to nestle himself in my lap. His favorite book at the moment is "Where is Baby's Belly Button?"
